The Evens are a Dischord Records band from Washington, D.C. Ian plays baritone guitar and Amy plays drums. They both sing.

Formed in 2001, the band has recorded three albums, “The Evens” (2005), “Get Evens” (2006), and “The Odds” (2012), plus one 7” single, “2 Songs.” The Evens have toured throughout the world, performing dates in Europe, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the United States.
