NYU’s Nurse-Midwifery Program and Choices in Childbirth bring you an incredible and FREE event with a film screening and expert panel discussion focusing on the status of maternity care in the United States. Join us for a screening of The Business of Being Born: Classroom Edition (www.classroombobb.com), which includes:
* The newly modified version of the original documentary by Abby Epstein and Ricki Lake, aimed to educate the next generation of parents, policy-makers, health care practitioners, and public health advocates
* Birth By The Numbers, Professor Eugene Declercq’s analysis of birth statistics in the US compared to industrialized and developing countries.
* Celebrity interviews from More Business of Being Born

The film will be followed by a panel of renowned public health and birth experts:
