Sahar Sadjadi, Visiting Assistant Professor and Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow, Committee for Interdisciplinary Science Studies, Graduate Center. Dr. Sadjadi is an anthropologist and medical doctor whose research lies at the intersection of science and technology, gender and sexuality and childhood studies. She studied medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, worked as an emergency room physician, and completed her PhD in medical anthropology at Columbia University. Her work, which has been funded by the Wenner-Gren Foundation and the National Science Foundation.
