I have been collaborating with a few others to start a Queer Zine for the Pittsburgh area. Now that most of the ducks are in a row, I want to hear from YOU. We are looking for essays, creative non-fiction, poetry, artwork and photography that express your thoughts/personal experiences in the queer community. I also need one artist interested in designing a cover or helping with production design. If you have a story to share but are not interested in writing, we are happy to assign a writing partner so your voice is heard! If you would like to contribute in some way but aren’t sure how, please let me know and I’ll find something for you to do! And if you miss the deadline, don’t worry. We’re planning to make this a regular thing!

Artwork: 5.5″ x 8.5″ with 1/2″ margin on all sides. BLACK AND WHITE only, please. This is going to be very DIY for now! High contrast images preferred.
Writing: Max of 1000 words. All pieces are subject to collaborative editing with the author and should be respectful of all members of the queer community.
