SILENT BARN PUBLIC TALK SHOW #1
“Let’s talk about Kraft Trabajo aka my own radioactivity”

Featuring a very special host, HIDE of ULTRA BIDE, in New York for the first time in 15 years from Kyoto, for his new “talk show” tour of North America.

“Please come to my talk and spoken words and Q & A show, you will see and experience first time in music history of the universe. I think Japanese punk rocker speak out in english to only talk, not play music, just TALK for 2 hours or more about free subjects, kind of TV style Q & A. Japan had massive attack tunami and earthquake and atomic power plant blow up our mind about 2 years ago. This is my kind of timing to use the japan facts and my music art working progression to over seas. This show is most of time i like do Q & A with attendance ask me whatever your curiosity to answer, subject of nuclear, sex, breakfast, foot pedals, kingdom of bhutan, my neighborhood, parallel world, etc. My 52 years life experience think about japan is well know mind control from USA & ENGLAND with totally “MANGA” stupidity presence of japan isolation era with funky style just well copyed and manga eat all japanese brains or I can see just little bit “Oh man, I am seeing the future of the control by corporations and one country call THE EARTH.” that why we are robots.”

DARYL-ANN SAUNDERS (PIONEERS OF BUSHWICK)
“Daryl-Ann Saunders started in music photography and gradually swerved headlong into editorial and personal work. In 2006, Saunders moved to Bushwick, Brooklyn. As a growing tide of new residents flocked to the area, she decided to create a body of photographic work to commemorate the neighborhood’s persevering, long-time residents i.e. its “pioneers”. Requesting to be paired with Diana Jones Senior Center in Bushwick, Saunders created a small “pop-up” photo studio there and began Pioneers of Bushwick, a series of studio portraits and written text by Bushwick residents living in the area since the 1970s. The objective of presenting the series is to provoke discussion and provide empathetic understanding, knowledge and recognition of residents that formed the backbone of a troubled neighborhood when gentrification and new development were not an option and/ or even desired; to provide voice to and make visible that which is increasingly rendered invisible in the face of gentrification and new development.”

Select artwork from the Pioneers of Bushwick photo-text series by Daryl-Ann Saunders will be on display. Also visit her solo exhibition of large prints at LOOM Gallery, 1087 Flushing Ave., Brooklyn, NY from May 22nd to June 30th.
