“Where Should the Birds Fly” is a document of the Israeli invasion and bombardment of Gaza in December 2008 and January 2009 through the stories of two courageous young Palestinian women: Mona Samouni, now 12 years old, and the filmmaker, Fida Qishta, now 27. This is the first film documenting the impact of the attacks made by Palestinians themselves. Palestinian filmmaker and internationally-recognized journalist Qishta will be leading the discussion after the screening.
