Four writers from diverse backgrounds share their work around and discuss the theme of violence – how it inhabits us and how we inhabit it – through body, speech, memory, identity. How does violence simultaneously fragment and bind us? What does re-membering mean in the context of trauma? How do we survive wounds which thrive on the question why? Ultimately, they explore how writing might create a craft around that question, a means to travel through the unraveled.
