Please join us to celebrate the release of three chapbooks: Marisa Crawford’s 8TH GRADE HIPPIE CHIC (Immaculate Disciples Press, 2013), and Becca Klaver’s MERRILY, MERRILY (Lame House Press, 2013) and NONSTOP POP (Bloof Books, 2013).

Marisa Crawford is the author of the poetry collection The Haunted House (Switchback Books, 2010), and the chapbook 8th Grade Hippie Chic. Her writing has recently appeared in Action Yes, Columbia Poetry Review, Black Clock and Delirious Hem, and on Feministing’s Community blog and VIDA’s blog, HER KIND. She grew up in New York and Connecticut and now lives in Brooklyn. Read more at marisacrawford.net.

Becca Klaver is the author of the poetry collection LA Liminal (Kore Press, 2010) and the chapbooks Inside a Red Corvette: A 90s Mix Tape (greying ghost, 2009), Merrily, Merrily, and Nonstop Pop. She is a PhD candidate in English at Rutgers University, where she’s writing a dissertation on contemporary women’s poetry, feminism, and the everyday. Shanna Compton’s books include For Girls & Others (Bloof, 2007), Down Spooky (Winnow, 2005), Gamers (Soft Skull, 2004), and several chapbooks. The first book in her two-volume project, Brink, was published by Bloof in fall 2012; the second book, The Seam, will be published in 2013. She grew up in Texas and now lives in Central New Jersey. Dan Magers is co-founder and co-editor of Immaculate Disciples Press, a handmade chapbook press focused on poetry and visual arts collaborations, and of the online poetry journal Sink Review. He grew up in Kansas City, MO and now lives in Brooklyn. He is the author of PARTYKNIFE (Birds, LLC, 2012).
