The Walker Art Center’s Internet Cat Video Festival was conceived as a modest celebration to bring online communities together in the real world. #catvidfest has since become its own viral phenomenon, drawing more than 10,000 fans to each of festival debuts and winning the attention of local, national, and international audiences and media. The second edition of the festival gathers over 80 crowd-sourced and curated Internet Cat Videos; from Vine videos to short films; classics clips to festival exclusives; spanning over 75 minutes of feline film fun. Each festival date draws from feline and human talent in the local community to make a unique audience experience.
