Impulse Pittsburgh Presents: Write on my Shirt Party

Thank you for everyone who came to our Rainbow Challenge. We succeeded in the challenge and made plenty of rainbows for the camera! Pictures will be posted in a few days. It was a fun time had by all and attended by 350-400! You guys packed the dance floor!

We’re bringing back a popular theme this month – a fun way to mingle and meet new friends as well as network. The White T-Shirt Party! Aka the Write-On Party.

Age: 21+ This club is concerned about age restrictions and liabilities, so we’re keeping this one 21 and over only. Sorry!

About the Venue

This month, we’re going back to Mr Smalls! This was a HIT at the last event we held here- everyone loved the venue! Mr Smalls is a theatre with a soundstage only 7 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. And if you haven’t been here in a while, they’ve completely redone the inside, and it looks great! The acoustics inside are incredible, and DJ Nicole will be rocking the beats from the large stage. The dance area is spacious, and they even have their own in-house lighting system. The venue comfortably fits hundreds of people and will give us a lot of wiggle room. Here are some main components:

3 Bars. You heard right! 2 bars in the main stage area. 1 Bar upstairs in the VIP area.

A VIP area on the Balcony with separate rooms. Anyone is invited to the VIP balcony area. They’re perfect conversation rooms where you can look down over the crowd. Has its own private bar

An outdoor covered deck. A perfect way to get some fresh air and enjoy the summer weather.

Theme

You asked for it- more opportunities to mix and meet new friends! We’ve already experimented with this popular theme: The white t-shirt party. You wear a white t-shirt, we provide markers, you write fun/silly/dirty messages on each other’s shirts and maybe it will become a keepsake.

If you don’t want to participate, don’t wear a white shirt (or else people might try to write on you!) It is not required to participate (but it will be fun!)

Maybe you’ll get a number or two!

$3.50 Well Drinks from 10PM to 12 AM

Photographer and DJ

DJ Nicole will be pumping top the new Impulse mix (Top 40′s, hip hop, 80′s, 90′s, and personal requests) all night long. She takes requests!

Photographer to capture more sexy/cute/insane moments. If you want a group picture with your friends for Facebook, feel free to ask our photographer! If you don’t want any record of this night, add your name to our list at the front table, and we’ll make sure not to put up any pics of you. We’re very strict about this policy!

Safety

We want to make every Impulse experience enjoyable and safe for anyone who attends. Please do not get involved in any of the following:

Smoking pot, getting into fights, threatening anybody, arguing with staff or security, breaking glasses, damaging property, etc.

You guys know the drill Just keep it safe and friendly! We promise to work hard for you to make every Impulse an experience to remember so we can continue to be the largest LGBTQ Women’s event in the Western PA region.

PS- Our last couple events have been safe, respectful, and an absolute blast… thank you Queer Community of Pittsburgh!

Parking

There is parking all up and down the street as well as the parallel street where the businesses are (the businesses are closed so it will be easy to park there).

We will be offering two bracelets, you can take one, both, or none.

Orange- Means you are single and looking
Blue- Means you are interested in hooking-up/close-dancing/flirting in a more risque way.
