Thanks for an Epic Dinah Shore party in March- the turnout despite calls for a snowstorm was amazing! We had so much fun on the dance floor and in the photobooth, all while supporting a great cause: The Garden of Peace Project!
This month we’re doing a downtown pub crawl which will involve multiple locations! This is quite possibly our most ambitious Impulse event to date as we organize multiple venues to support our community while at the same time, supporting the city’s LGBT bars! We are really thrilled about hundreds of LGBT women, trans men, our allies and supporters hopping up and down Liberty Ave, discovering new venues, dancing the night away and meeting up with friends old+new.
About the Event
Location: THERE Ultra Lounge (2 levels), Tilden, and 941 Saloon. These bars are right next to one another.

Date: Saturday, April 5th
Time: 9PM – 4AM (Afterparty from 1AM-4AM at Tilden- if you have a stamp you will get in for free!)
Cost to get in the door: $5 (No matter which bar you decide to go to first, we will give you a stamp that will allow you to get into all the other bars for free!)
Parking: There is a lot right on Liberty Ave that is only $5 for the entire night
Age: 21+ only due to Bar Rules and Regulations
About the Venues
THERE Ultra Lounge downstairs- Awesome conversation spot, drink specials, tables. Smoking allowed.
THERE Ultra Lounge upstairs- Great dance club! DJ Steph will be upstairs playing the hits you love till 2AM! NO SMOKING!
941 Saloon (downstairs at 941 Liberty)- Awesome conversation spot, drink specials, tables, and billiard tables. DJ Cruise will be spinning some music downstairs. Smoking allowed.
Tilden (upstairs at 941 Liberty)- Dance club from 9pm-1AM with DJ Jess Porter. After Hours Party from 1AM-4AM- After Hours is free with the Impulse Stamp. NO smoking until 1AM.
How does it work?
When you arrive, whether its at 941 or 931 Liberty Ave first, we will stamp you after you pay $5. This stamp will get you in everywhere else for the rest of the night, including the After Hours club.
We definitely recommend bar-hopping to check out the specials at each place then towards 11PM or so, hopping to both of the upstairs dance clubs to get your groove on!

Some Event Logistics
There is a coat check at Tilden.
Please note there is only smoking allowed at the DOWNSTAIRS part of either building. When you are upstairs at either bar, there is NO smoking.
The Impulse crowd can use either the men’s or women’s restroom at either bar.
Music
DJ Steph and DJ Nia will be taking over the beats and playing your favorite dance music with a few surprise past-decade songs thrown in! They will be at the upstairs of THERE Ultra Lounge.
DJ Cruise will be at 941 Saloon.
DJ Jess Porter will be at Tilden.

Ways to Mingle if you’re Single
We will be offering two bracelets at both 941 and 931 Liberty when you arrive, you can take one, both, or none.
Orange- Means you are single and looking
Blue- Means you are interested in hooking-up/close-dancing/flirting in a more risque way.

event in the Western PA region. We do offer security at all of our events just to make sure everyone is safe!
