Hey there cowpeople, it’s time for the April Queer Country Monthly! So head on down to the Branded Saloon on Saturday, April 27th for some great music and a whiskey milkshake. This month we’ve got a great line-up: The Paisley Fields, Juan & the Pines and Viva!

We start at 8:00 and the door is a $5, but no one ever turned away for lack of funds. Also, there is always a bucket of free candy for people who like candy.

Read on for more info about the bands and your hard-working queer country team below. Hope to see you all soon!

xoxo,
karen

More info:

The Paisley Fields
www.thepaisleyfields.com
The Paisley Fields is a New York City based country-blues band. Their sound is Mumford & Sons meets The National with a touch of Patsy Cline’s heartbreaking twang.

Juan & the Pines
www.reverbnation.com/juanandthepines
Tasty honky tonk, high lonesome wailin, and sad sad waltzes—no that ain’t rain, that’s a tear in my eye.

Viva
www.vivamusic.info
Viva is an angel-voiced, country-loving guitar goddess. She’s played everywhere from sweaty rock clubs across America to Bonnaroo with Cyro Baptista’s Beat the Donkey to the Monterey Jazz Fest with Peter Apfelbaum to our own dear Branded Saloon, singing the great songs of Dolly, Johnie, Willie, Tammy, Loretta, Conway and more!
