Concert & art exhibit revolving around the 300 year old art of playing music on a carpenter’s handsaw, with participation of 40 musical saw players from around the world and a chamber orchestra.
Musical saw solos & ensembles, performing many music styles (classical, contemporary, pop, folk, show-tunes, etc.) performed by musical saw players from all over the world.
World premiers of music written especially for the musical saw by Scott Munson and Ady Cohen, as well as the ‘Chorus of the Saws’ – 40 musical saw players playing together.
A chamber orchestra conducted by Dan Radtke will accompany musical saw player Natalia ‘Saw Lady’ Paruz in a presentation of the musical saw as an ensemble instrument.
